The story
Why I do this work.
For more than forty years I worked as a counselor and academic advisor. Years of conversations with people at difficult crossroads, and one pattern kept repeating: almost nobody was stuck because they lacked information. They were stuck because some part of them had already made up its mind.
That's what brought me to hypnosis. In 2014 I opened this practice in Tucker so I could work with that part directly. Not through anything mystical, through a method that's been refined for over a century and that, applied carefully, simply works.
Clients tell me two things most often. That I'm patient, which after four decades of advising is less a virtue than a habit. And that I don't rush, not the intake, not the session, not the decision about whether to work together at all.
I also record every session and send it to you. Listening back between appointments is one of the biggest reasons the change holds. I see clients at the Tucker office, Monday through Friday, with appointments scheduled by request.
Experience
Background & approach.
Two careers, one skill set: understanding people quickly, and staying patient while they change.
The room
A quiet place to do real work.
Sessions happen at 2105 Carthage Rd in Tucker, in a warm, private room designed to let your nervous system settle quickly. A comfortable chair, soft natural light, wood and texture, no clinical fluorescents, no distractions.
The pace is unhurried, the structure is the same every time, and you always leave with a recording of the hypnosis to use on your own.
